Housing/Utility Assistance
ACCT’s housing services help keep clients safe and healthy by connecting them to stable housing and assisting with rent and utilities.
Contact Housing Services to learn more about available programs and determine eligbility. Help is available to those already housed or in need of permanent shelter.
HOPWA services are available to everyone who qualifies for assistance, regardless of their race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, familial status, or disability.

Tenant Based Rental Assistance (TBRA) Long-Term Rental Assistance
TBRA is a long-term housing program that helps with a portion of the client’s monthly rental payment. Contact the Housing Department for information on wait list and application process.
Permanent Housing Placement (PHP) Program
PHP helps with move-in expenses such as application fees, security deposits, utility deposits, and first month of rent for eligible clients.
Short Term Rental Mortgage and Utility (STRMU) Program
STRMU provides emergency assistance with rent, mortgage, and utilities. Clients may qualify for this program with loss of in come, illness, or change in household composition.
Other client emergencies are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Please contact the Housing Department to determine eligibility.
